Why 700-GMAT Club?

Why 700-GMAT Club?

1We offer a holistic approach to MBA admission, walking you through the entire application process (e.g. essays, GMAT prep, interviews). The GMAT is just one part of the application; do not neglect the other crucial components. Try a free GMAT class session or consultation and you will notice the 700-GMAT Club difference.

2Time and again we see customers go over 1000 GMAT problem sets and attend brand-name GMAT prep courses, only to be disappointed. Why? Just because an instructor scored 750 on the GMAT does not make him/her a good instructor -By the way, our chief instructor scored 800 on the GMAT. In fact, many of our clients come to us for rescue after attending one of the top known prep vendors. And, we thank them for giving us the business. At 700-GMAT Club, there is no drill sergeant mentality; we meet you at your current skill level and prepare you to perform to your optimal potential on the GMAT. We offer classroom and private tutoring.

3Curriculum: Our primary means of teaching students is through live, online, in-class lectures. We encourage students to take active participation in the virtual class and watch our online video solutions for review and retention. Problem sets are taken from retired GMAT exam questions –or closely related to past GMAT questions- to ensure students are familiar with the type of questions they will encounter on test day.

4References: We are proven. Many of our clients have used our services and were admitted to Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Chicago, Kellogg, Columbia, Berkeley, Duke, Cornell, and to other top tier B-schools. We welcome you to talk to them about their experiences with 700-GMAT Club.

.

It is necessary for your tutor to have earned a high GMAT score (after all, the blind cannot lead the blind); Still this fact alone is not sufficient.

The tutor must possess the skills to teach the GMAT. You can find out about the tutor’s teaching skills by asking her former clients or by having the tutor demonstrate her skills at no cost to you.

By all means, get the right coaching and materials. You owe it to yourself. Let the teacher demonstrate her knowledge, math and/or verbal skills, and approach to the GMAT.

Is the tutor’s approach efficient, or time-consuming and/or energy-sapping? You must be able to answer these questions. Don’t be too impressed by the tutor’s phenomenal GMAT score (very good but by no means sufficient)

.

The question you should ask yourself is whether the tutor can help you earn a score higher than the median score of the admitted students of your target business school (hopefully top 20).

GMAT Facts

After taking the GMAT, you’ll receive four GMAT scores:
1- A quantitative scaled sub score, ranging from 0 to 60 ( 51 being the effective max score).

2-
A verbal scaled sub score, ranging from 0 to 60 ( 48 being the effective max score).

3- An overall scaled score, ranging from 200 to 800. This score is the combination of your 0 to 60 math and verbal scores. The 200 to 800 cumulative score is what business schools primarily use.

4- An Analytical Writing Assessment score, ranging from 0 to 6. This is a separate score that is less important than the 200 to 800 cumulative score.
